CSEPP Closeout Fact Sheet

The New CSEPP
The Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program is nearly complete.  The Umatilla Chemical Depot began destroying its chemical munitions in 2004 and is on track to complete its final campaign by the end of this year.

The communities surrounding the Depot are safer today because of CSEPP’s public safety program.  While the threat of a chemical emergency at the Depot will be eliminated
, we hope we’ve left you better prepared for any kind of emergency.

Once the Depot closes, CSEPP takes on a new meaning:  Communities Strengthened, Equipped, Protected and Prepared.
Our new Emergency Resource guide offers important information about preparing for any danger our area may face.  It also includes a list of items to put in your Emergency Kit, as well as a tear-out page for important phone numbers
